@thestevecropper was the quiet force behind some of the loudest, most unforgettable moments in music history. He didn’t play at the music. He carried it, shaped it and somehow made the whole world sound better. I had the privilege of getting to talk to him on @dystopiatonight, and he was kind enough to come back for my first MS Benefit later that year. Whenever we spoke he was generous, hilarious, and somehow made me feel like the guest. RIP Colonel.
